Food Prices Wednesday (August 14th) in Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (14/8/2024) at 12.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import) and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, red chilies, chicken meat, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium-grain rice saw the highest price increase of Rp40 (0.31%) to Rp12,950 per kg. Red chilies saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp3,990 (7.26%) to Rp51,000 per kg.
