Food Prices Wednesday (1/10) South Sumatra Region: Chili Padi Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (1/10/2025) at 13:22 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 5 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, dried soybean seeds (imported), red chili padi, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, skipjack tuna, packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili padi surged the most by Rp1,047 (2.64%) to Rp40,750 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp3,107 (5.86%) to Rp49,893 per kg.
