Current Food Prices in Jambi: Onion and Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today have been observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (9/5/2024) at 13:55 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, dry soybean (import), curly red chili, skipjack tuna, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, red chili peppers, chicken eggs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most, by Rp3,330 (11.55%) to Rp32,170 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers decreased the least, by Rp1,400 (3.29%) to Rp41,100 per kg.
