The average expenditure of people in Kuningan Regency for purchasing red chilies in 2023 was Rp861.64 per capita per week. This figure surged compared to the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp706.58 per capita per week.

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, including purchases, gifts, and self-produced goods, divided by the number of household members. Household consumption is categorized into food and non-food consumption, regardless of the origin of goods, and is limited to household needs only, excluding consumption/expenditure for business purposes or given to other parties.

Expenditure on food consumption is calculated weekly, while non-food consumption is calculated monthly and for the past 12 months. Both food and non-food consumption are then converted into average monthly expenditure.
