Food Prices Today (29/1) in Jambi: Red Chili Up, Onions Down

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (January 29, 2026) at 18.34 WIB, out of 15 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are curly red chilies and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chilies, red onions, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,667 (5.95%) to Rp29,667 per kg. Red onions experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp1,000 (3.19%) to Rp30,333 per kg.
