Today's Food Prices in West Java: Sugar, Beef, and Egg Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (13/6/2024) at 14.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, granulated sugar, tongkol fish, chicken eggs, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by Rp1,050 (2.03%) to Rp52,680 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt decreased the most sharply, by Rp20 (0.19%) to Rp10,460 per kg.
