Current Food Prices in Jambi: Onion and Beef Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (30/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, milkfish, and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, shallots, fine iodized salt, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most, by Rp3,230 (10.5%) to Rp34,000 per kg. Shallot prices decreased the most, by Rp2,300 (7.34%) to Rp29,020 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp34,000 per kg (up 10.5%)
7. Shallots: Rp29,020 per kg (down 7.34%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,630 per kg (up 0.03%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,480 per kg (up 1.55%)
