Current Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili, Oil, and Onion Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (3/12/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, red chilies, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef prices surged the highest by Rp4,320 (3.13%) to Rp142,270 per kg. The price of mackerel decreased the most sharply by Rp2,730 (7.77%) to Rp32,410 per kg.
