Lampung Food Prices, Sunday (August 18th): Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (18/8/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, pure beef, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, granulated sugar, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The highest price increase was for livestock-level corn, up by Rp370 (8.31%) to Rp4,820 per kg. The largest price decrease was for bulk wheat flour, down by Rp320 (2.93%) to Rp10,610 per kg.
