Current Food Prices in Bali: Onion and Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (17/12/2024) at 11:09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), farmer-level corn, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp950 (3.54%) to Rp27,810 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the sharpest price drop of Rp1,280 (3.25%) to Rp38,060 per kg.
