Sumatera Selatan Food Prices Today: What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (1/5/2024) at 13.43 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, broiler chicken, iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, red chili, pure beef, red chili pepper, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp3,130 (12.89%) to Rp27,420 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili pepper decreased the most by Rp3,480 (6.87%) to Rp47,150 per kg.
