Today's Food Price List in Central Java: Beef and Chili Prices Drop (Friday, April 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (12/4/2024) at 09.05 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, premium rice, shallots, dry soybean (import), and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, red chilies, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp14,400 (53.33%) to Rp41,400 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt had the lowest price decrease of Rp10,860 (47.22%) to Rp12,140 per kg.

6. Garlic Bulbs: Rp38,010 per kg (up 26.7%)
7. Milkfish: Rp35,240 per kg (down 7.26%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,110 per kg (down 12.54%)
9. Mackerel: Rp33,790 per kg (down 13.36%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,790 per kg (up 6.39%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,560 per kg (up 3.29%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,190 per liter (down 4.5%)
