Bali Food Prices Thursday (4/7): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Bali today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (4/7/2024) at 15.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, medium rice, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, broiler chicken, milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp3,710 (10.76%) to Rp38,200 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices decreased the most sharply by Rp2,840 (7.63%) to Rp34,380 per kg.
