Food Prices on Monday (August 5th) in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Oil and Chicken Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (5/8/2024) at 12:20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, red chilies, shallots, SPHP rice, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp290 (2.66%) to Rp11,200 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop of Rp420 (1.97%) to Rp20,950 per kg.
