Food Prices in Central Java, Saturday (14/12): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (14/12/2024) at 09.37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, farmer-level corn, SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp920 (8.42%) to Rp11,850 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp2,590 (9.13%) to Rp25,780 per kg.
