Food Prices in East Java, Thursday (December 5th): What's the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (5/12/2024) at 08.40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, shallots, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp690 (7.08%) to Rp10,440 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp1,950 (6.67%) to Rp27,290 per kg.
