Current Food Prices in East Java, What is the Price of Chicken Meat?

Food prices in East Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (12/7/2024) at 11:01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, whole garlic cloves, red chilies, iodized fine salt, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp4,410 (9.98%) to Rp48,620 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop, decreasing Rp1,320 (5.11%) to Rp24,510 per kg.
