Food Prices in Jambi on Tuesday (May 7th): Onions Up, Chilies Down

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (May 7, 2024) at 13:01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, granulated sugar, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and red cayenne peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp1,160 (3.92%) to Rp30,740 per kg. Red chili prices decreased the most by Rp4,040 (8.19%) to Rp45,310 per kg.
