Food Prices Today in Jambi Region: Beef, Rice, and Chili Prices Decline

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (26/9/2025) at 08.42 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption salt, large red chili, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp3,000 (4.92%) to Rp64,000 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level decreased the sharpest by Rp534 (7.78%) to Rp6,333 per kg.
