Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra: Onion and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (9/5/2024) at 16:45 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, broiler chicken, shallots, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp580 (2.19%) to Rp27,050 per kg. Curly red chilies had the lowest price decrease of Rp1,150 (2.43%) to Rp46,240 per kg.
