Bali Food Prices Week of May 26th: Sugar and Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (26/5/2024) at 15.41 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, shallot cloves, chicken eggs, red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, chicken meat, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,530 (5.47%) to Rp29,490 per kg. Milkfish saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,680 (4.4%) to Rp36,470 per kg.
