Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Today: Oil Prices Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 31, 2025) at 14:30 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include chicken eggs, broiler meat, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, curly red chili, packaged wheat flour, Indian mackerel, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest increase of Rp275 (1.64%) to Rp17,052 per liter. Red onion prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp321 (0.88%) to Rp36,346 per kg.
