Latest Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta: Chili and Rice Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (October 1, 2025) at 12.11 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption salt, packaged cooking oil, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic (bulb), premium rice, wheat flour (bulk), packaged wheat flour, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt prices increased the most by Rp358 (2.9%) to Rp12,719 per kg. Meanwhile, packaged wheat flour prices dropped the sharpest by Rp472 (4.02%) to Rp11,278 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 23 food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta according to Bapanas on October 1, 2025, at 12.11 PM WIB.

6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,000 per kg (down 1.46%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,533 per kg (down 0.01%)
8. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp32,867 per kg (down 0.24%)
9. Shallots: Rp32,789 per kg (down 2.94%)
10. Garlic (Bulb): Rp30,350 per kg (down 0.13%)
