Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (27/10/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, fine iodized salt, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, premium rice, medium rice, red chilies, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp930 (7.93%) to Rp12,660 per kg. Red onion prices, on the other hand, saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp1,560 (6.02%) to Rp24,340 per kg.
