Daily Prices of Curly Red Chili Peppers at Modern Markets in Central Java Province Increased by 52.78% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in Central Java Province is recorded at Rp71,350 per kg. This price is up Rp3,350 per kg compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp46,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in Central Java over the past three months has increased by 14.99% from the previously recorded price of Rp62,050 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 83.66%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -37.94%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Java show seven commodities decreased and 17 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Grade 2 Beef, Chicken, Granulated Sugar, Medium-Sized Garlic, Rice, Garlic, and Local Granulated Sugar.

8. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg Rp21,300 per kg (up 1.43%)
9. Fresh Broiler Chicken per Kg Rp45,300 per kg (up 2.6%)

11. Chicken Eggs per Kg Rp31,350 per kg (up 24.16%)
