Food Prices Today (26/11) in West Sumatra: Red Chili and Onion Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (26/11/2025) at 16.13 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are curly red chili, shallots, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, only Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Shallots saw the highest jump of Rp1,972 (5.91%) to Rp35,333 per kg. Meanwhile, Honan garlic prices fell the sharpest by Rp83 (0.25%) to Rp32,667 per kg.
