Food Prices Today (Dec 4) in East Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Onion Down

The prices of several food ingredients in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (Dec 4, 2025) at 5:39 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are bulk palm cooking oil, wheat flour, shallots, curly red chilies, and large red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, Honan garlic, and beef hind shank decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili rose the highest by Rp5,485 (7.95%) to Rp74,485 per kg. The price of Honan garlic dropped the sharpest by Rp100 (0.33%) to Rp29,800 per kg.

9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,174 per liter (stable)
