Today's Food Prices (04/12) in DKI Jakarta: Onion, Oil, and Egg Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (4/12/2025) at 17:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 2 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include curly red chili, red bird's eye chili, Minyakita, shallots, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as imported soybeans and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp4,500 (5.75%) to Rp82,750 per kg. Meanwhile, imported soybean prices dropped the sharpest by Rp300 (2.04%) to Rp14,400 per kg.

9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,450 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,517 per liter (stable)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,275 per kg (stable)
