Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chicken Meat, Chili, and Sugar Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (12/10/2025) at 11:00 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 14 increased and 7 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption sugar, red cayenne pepper, bulk cooking oil, mackerel, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, premium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Tuna fish commodity saw the highest jump of Rp1,093 (3.37%) to Rp33,531 per kg. As for shallot prices, they experienced the deepest drop of Rp347 (1.14%) to Rp30,194 per kg.
