South Sumatra Food Prices, Monday (May 6th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (6/5/2024) at 15.57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, broiler chicken, fine iodized salt, granulated sugar, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, skipjack tuna, red chilies, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices increased the most by Rp300 (0.86%) to Rp35,280 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the least by Rp2,220 (4.84%) to Rp43,640 per kg.
