Latest Food Prices in West Java: Oil Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (11/13/2025) at 08:44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 8 commodities saw an increase and 15 commodities saw a decrease.

Commodities with price increases included corn at the farmer level, SPHP rice, premium rice, chicken eggs, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption sugar, red cayenne pepper, milkfish, packaged wheat flour, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Corn at the farmer level saw the highest jump of Rp183 (2.92%) to Rp6,450 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili experienced the deepest drop of Rp7,422 (12.07%) to Rp54,063 per kg.
