Latest Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta: Beef and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food items in D.I Yogyakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (2/9/2025) at 09:34 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, shallots, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, skipjack tuna, large red chili, consumption salt, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Packaged wheat flour commodity saw the highest jump of Rp976 (8.59%) to Rp12,333 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird''s eye chili dropped the most by Rp4,273 (17.6%) to Rp20,000 per kg.
