East Java Food Prices Thursday (July 11th): Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (11/7/2024) at 11:01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, milkfish, chicken meat, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, pure beef, mackerel, fine iodized salt, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,820 (4.27%) to Rp44,460 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel prices fell the most sharply by Rp1,480 (4.41%) to Rp32,090 per kg.
