Indonesia's Daily Food Prices: Beef and Oil Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (11/12/2024) at 2 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, red chilies, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, SPHP rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,120 (2.76%), reaching Rp41,680 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp230 (0.74%), reaching Rp30,720 per kg.
