Bali's Current Food Prices: Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (12/8/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, broiler chicken, farmer-level corn, fine iodized salt, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, red chilies, broiler chicken eggs, curly red chilies, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp720 (6.54%) to Rp11,730 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp2,300 (6.27%) to Rp34,380 per kg.

8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,280 per kg (down 2.59%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp24,800 per kg (down 1.78%)
10. Red Onion: Rp22,050 per kg (up 0.23%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,330 per kg (up 0.58%)
