Jambi Region Food Prices, Week of December 1st: What is the Price of Chicken?

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (1/12/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, pure beef, skipjack tuna, milkfish, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), Indian mackerel, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp3,610 (11.5%) to Rp35,000 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices decreased the most by Rp2,540 (8.09%) to Rp28,840 per kg.
