Indonesia's Food Prices Today: What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (22/4/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, simple packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), shallots, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, medium rice, milkfish, pure beef, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp180 (2.34%) to Rp7,860 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp380 (1.13%) to Rp33,220 per kg.
