Lampung Food Prices Thursday (30/5): Beef Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (30/5/2024) at 16.13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, milkfish, Indian mackerel, premium rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, iodized fine salt, bulk cooking oil, red onions, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp690 (1.57%) to Rp44,570 per kg. Red onions saw the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp1,060 (2.19%) to Rp47,340 per kg.
