Current Food Prices in Bali: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (13/8/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, milkfish, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp610 (5.59%) to Rp11,520 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish experienced the largest price decrease of Rp14,490 (39.97%) to Rp21,760 per kg.
