The price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in Central Kalimantan Province has increased by 31.75% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in Central Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp45,650. This price is up Rp250 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets has increased from Rp34,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in Central Kalimantan over the past three months has increased by 3.4% from the previous record of Rp44,150.

The highest price increase for medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2024 with an increase of 19.79%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2022 with a decrease of -14.64%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Kalimantan show two commodities decreased and 26 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Super II Quality Rice and Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province.
