Today's Food Prices in West Java: Salt, Chili, and Oil Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in West Java are observed to have decreased today compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (August 15, 2025) at 12:08 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are dried soybean (imported), bulk wheat flour, pure beef, consumption sugar, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, red onion, medium rice, packaged wheat flour, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour commodity increased the highest by Rp46 (0.48%) to Rp9,582 per kg. The price of red bird's eye chili decreased the sharpest by Rp2,445 (6.22%) to Rp36,870 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp37,507 per kg (down 0.66%)
7. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp36,870 per kg (down 6.22%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,582 per kg (down 0.34%)
9. Curly Red Chili: Rp35,818 per kg (down 4.85%)
10. Whole Garlic: Rp34,722 per kg (down 1.14%)
