West Java Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Wednesday, April 17, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (17/4/2024) at 16:15 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, shallot bulbs, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,260 (2.33%) to Rp55,430 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the lowest decrease of Rp2,640 (6.66%) to Rp36,970 per kg.
