Current Food Prices in East Java: Beef, Oil, and Sugar Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in East Java are observed to have decreased today compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (July 31, 2025) at 08:18 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler chicken meat, medium rice, milkfish, red cayenne pepper, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn for farmers, mackerel, consumption sugar, SPHP rice, and imported dried soybeans decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice surged the highest by Rp764 (5.08%) to Rp15,815 per kg. The price of SPHP rice dropped the most by Rp12,069 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
