Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Sunday, December 24, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at 11:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, curly red chilies, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken experienced the highest increase of Rp1,020 (2.99%) to Rp35,160 per kg. The price of curly red chilies saw the lowest decrease of Rp3,400 (5.17%) to Rp62,340 per kg.
