West Java Food Prices Thursday (25/9): Red Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (25/9/2025) at 12:48 PM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 10 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red cayenne pepper, milkfish, packaged cooking oil, Minyakita, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dried soybean (imported), broiler chicken eggs, consumption salt, premium rice, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The large red chili commodity surged highest by Rp1,780 (2.99%) to Rp61,247 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices fell sharpest by Rp717 (1.92%) to Rp36,653 per kg.
