Banten Region Food Prices Monday (6/5): Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (6/5/2024) at 14:51 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, farmer-level corn, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, iodized fine salt, premium rice, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp3,180 (8.9%) to Rp38,930 per kg. Iodized fine salt prices decreased the most by Rp1,360 (12.05%) to Rp9,930 per kg.
