Food Prices on Tuesday (29/7) in Bali: Oil and Salt Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (July 29, 2025) at 12:34 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities saw price increases and 10 commodities saw price decreases.

Commodities with increased prices include mackerel, curly red chili, broiler eggs, packaged wheat flour, and Minyakita (subsidized cooking oil).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, red onions, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice (subsidized rice), and broiler chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest jump of Rp1,000 (2.74%) to Rp37,500 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili pepper prices fell most sharply by Rp1,547 (3.71%) to Rp40,120 per kg.
