Current Food Prices in Banten: Chicken and Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (29/6/2024) at 14.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, garlic bulbs, medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,210 (10.95%) to Rp12,260 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most, by Rp1,880 (4.96%) to Rp36,050 per kg.

7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,970 per kg (up 5.27%)
8. Shallots: Rp33,550 per kg (down 3.54%)
9. Milkfish: Rp33,480 per kg (up 5.52%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (up 0.36%)
