Latest Food Prices in Bali: Chili Prices Up, Egg Prices Down (Saturday, January 27, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (27/1/2024) at 13:32 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, milkfish, red chilies, pure beef, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, chicken eggs, shallots, premium rice, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp7,000 (12.62%), reaching Rp62,450 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp2,670 (10.94%), reaching Rp21,730 per kg.
