Current Food Prices in West Sumatra, What is the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (29/11/2024) at 12.09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, shallots, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest, up Rp1,540 (4.82%) to Rp33,470 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices fell the most sharply, down Rp4,610 (12.22%) to Rp33,100 per kg.
